Level 1 or level 2 rated armor? CE Level 2 motorcycle armor is better than CE Level 1 motorcycle armor. It will be able to absorb a higher impact which reduces the chances of injury in a crash.

What is the difference between CE Level 1 and 2?

The difference between CE-Level 1 and 2 is the amount of force the protector can take. In essence, CE-Level 2 protectors can simply take more force than a Level 1 protector can.

What are the CE levels?

There are two levels of CE protection: CE level 1 and CE level 2 protectors. Typically, you only need a CE level 1 for most tracks. However, some more advanced and higher speed track schools or races require CE level 2. Finally, the “2014” refers to the year when the standard was implemented.
