The Certified International Property Specialist (CIPS) designation is for REALTORS® from the United States and abroad, as well as association staff and volunteer leaders who wish to develop or grow their international real estate business.

You are required to renew and make payment prior to the expiry of your 12 month membership subscription in order to maintain your membership. All members are provided with an online MyCIPS account which can be accessed via the CIPS website. Your renewal date is displayed in your MyCIPS dashboard.

Is Level 4 equivalent to a degree?

In short, A Level 4 qualification isn’t equivalent to a bachelor’s degree, but a Level 6 qualification is equivalent to a bachelor’s degree (that takes 3 or 4 years to complete). A Level 4 qualification could be seen as the completion of the first year of a bachelor’s degree which is referred to as FHEQ Level 4.

What’s the difference between a bachelor and diploma?

A bachelor degree is AQF level seven, which means it’s more advanced than a diploma and takes longer to complete. These courses take a minimum of three years of full-time study to complete but can take up to five years for those completing a bachelor with honours.

Can CIPS be done online?

Courses can be accessed anywhere with an internet connection and are compatible on all mobile devices.
