The ISEB Pre-Test is a respected and widely used online test for children moving from primary or prep schools to selective secondary schools. It is mainly multiple choice, and comprises four sections: English, Mathematics, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning.

Is 11+ same as ISEB?

The 11+ is a competitive exam and can be set by the LS (stte only), an individual school or group of schools, or by a separate provider (like ISEB and the CE exam board). The usually cover maths, English, verbal reasoning and non-verbal reasoning.

What age is Iseb?

The tests are normally taken in Year 6 or Year 7 when a pupil is aged between 10 and 12. The key features of the tests are: they cover verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, English and mathematics. they are online and adaptive.

How many Iseb pre test questions?

The Non-Verbal Reasoning section of the ISEB Pretest is 32 minutes long and contains 36 questions. As such, your child has around 53 seconds to complete each question on average.

How do I get my Iseb results?

To access external candidate results, you will need to formally request these from ISEB using the Request for Candidate Results form. You will be required to enter contact details on the form and also to provide a list of candidates. Instructions for this are provided on the form.
